Management

Growing environmental awareness has led nations and regions around the globe to enact increasingly rigorous emissions regulations for industrial engines. Kubota has been consistently offering environmentally friendly engines ever since it became the first in the world to obtain U.S. CARB emissions certification.

Going forward, we will further bolster efforts to earn high levels of trust from our industrial machinery manufacturer customers around the world for our world-leading engines, as the core elements of Kubota agricultural and construction machinery, which we are working to turn into “global major brand” in their own right. To achieve this, we will continue to prioritize listening to our customers, and to develop and supply highly competitive, environmentally friendly engines for installation in their equipment.

Particularly in Europe, where even more rigorous emissions regulations are expected to be implemented, we offer a robust lineup that includes not only diesel but also gasoline engines, and we are committed to being an engine manufacturer that responds to all kinds of customer needs, questions, and issues, under the slogan “Kubota, The Answer.”

“An engine is more than just a machine”

The reason Kubota can answer such a wide range of machinery needs in the world is that we offer so many kinds of engines. We have been involved in R&D for many years, and we take pride in the fact that we can make any kind of engine. What’s great about engines is that they can produce power easily and can be used anywhere. And engines will continue to transform, from mere machines to mechanical systems.
We exchange opinions with professionals from all fields of science in our thorough pursuit of quality. The ultimate dream we are working towards is to someday achieve a “true zero emissions engine” that also produces zero heat, noise, and vibration, and we will continue our work toward that goal.
